Hound / Mixed (short coat) Dog

Marnie - Senior the Dog needs a home

Marnie is an 8 year old hound, 45lbs of perfection. She is good with other dogs cats, and farm animals! What more could you ask for!!! This senior girl is just looking for a place to rest her head and take her for an occasional car ride.
----------- *Update 1/27/18* -------------
Marnie went out for hike yesterday. It was the first we've been able to get her out for & she didn't seem tired at all! We walked for about an hour & a half & it seems that she could have done twice that! This girl really is the perfect mix of peppy &calm. She is happy to be lazy at home, or go wherever you want to take her! Car rides are just about her favorite thing, second only to food!

---------- *Update 12/26/17* ----------
Marnie is settling into her new foster home quickly!! She is the perfect house guest and we were so happy to have her spend the holiday with us. Everyone was so impressed with how good she was and she loved greeting all of the new people. Marnie is house trained, good in the crate, & very good with our cat. Even though she is an older lady, she still has a lot of pep in her step, especially at meal times or when she gets to go outside to explore!!! Like most senior pets, Marnie still has spunk, but calms down quickly when it's time to relax. Despite being a hound, we have heard barely a peep from her while staying with us! Marnie is a sweetheart and what she wants most of all is to just curl up with her person.
